One Week Left in Drawing’s 2015 Competition!

Click to enter the 2015 Shades of Gray competition

Artists, draftsmen, sketchers, lend us your works on paper! The deadline in Drawing magazine’s 2015 Shades of Gray drawing competition is only a few days away: Entries must be received by October 5.  If you’d like to see your own work in the pages of Drawing (and on this website!) this is your chance.

The Shades of Gray competition challenges artists to submit their best drawings created entirely in black, white and gray tones. Works in all drawing media are eligible, including (but not limited to) graphite, charcoal, ink, ballpoint pen, chalk, silverpoint, scratchboard, woodblock, and even media such as colored pencil and pastel, so long as only black, white and gray are used.

Roughly 15 artists will be selected as winners, and their artwork will appear in Drawing magazine. The top winners also receive cash prizes, including $1,000 for the grand prize.

Click here to enter the competition. Good luck! We can’t wait to see everything you’ve created.
