About Jo Toye:
As an experimental artist, Jo finds great delight in bringing the intuitive nature of play together with the more formal elements of design. She is the author of the newly released North Light book, Abstract Explorations in Acrylic Painting.
In 2009, Jo was selected for the annual, “Ones to Watch,” feature article of Watercolor Artist Magazine and in 2015 she was selected as a finalist in The Artist’s Magazine’s Annual Competition. She is a signature member of the International Society of Acrylic Painters.
Jo lives in Scottsdale, Arizona where she joyously shares her evolving process through her popular workshops and classes. Jo takes great delight in sharing her process, and considers it an honor and privilege to be invited into, and share a small part of, another person’s artistic journey.
