Drawing magazine is proud to present a new special issue: The Figure: The Best of Drawing. This is a special 112-page publication in which we revisit some of the best articles that have appeared in Drawing examining all aspects of figure drawing, one of the most fascinating and challenging subjects in art. If you’re looking to improve your own figure drawing and portrait drawing abilities, this is your magazine.

Among the topics covered are: a three-stage approach for drawing the figure; advice for drawing the torso; a foolproof way to take key measurements on the figure and the head; common differences between male and female figures; and the lessons we can learn from some of the greatest draftsmen throughout history.
