Just a few months ago, Chris joined the ArtistsNetwork.tv team at the studio to film a series of acrylic videos dedicated to exploring the seemingly endless possibilities for creating entrancing art.

 Using Gelli Plates with Acrylics

During her time at the studio, Chris shared numerous techniques for getting the most out of acrylic paints.

In the video, provided below, discover one of her many amazing acrylic tips and tricks: using gelli plates for gorgeous results.

With a brayer, gelli plate, deli wrap, Bristol paper, and a lovely assortment of transparent and opaque acrylics in her arsenal, follow along as Chris demonstrates how to create intriguing color combinations and patterns.

“I hope you’ll get your gelli plate out if you have one and, if not, think about an investment in one,” she recommends in the video. “It’s been a very practical tool for me in the studio and has lead to many great adventures in color.”
